I am a Sustainable Agriculture instructor at Delaware Valley College. A
fellow instructor and myself are starting a student seed saving project at an
18th century farm given to the college. We hope to make it a learning
experience for both students and community. We have 7 acres of land that we
wish to use for heirloom veggies and grains. Does anyone know of a
organization that would be interested in funding such a project? We need
several thousand dollars for basic equipment and summer labor. We hope to
eventually reoffer seeds through Seed Savers Exchange. Any info would be
greatly appreciated.
