I really loved the part about the FDA "looking after the health and safety
of the population who didn't want to be exposed to these herbs".
What about the population who did not want to be exposed to rBST or
activated BT Toxin, etc. Where was the FDA on these issues? Were they
out there "protecting the population" or were they flat on their backsides?
I would worry a lot more about eating activated BT toxin then I ever would
about whether an animal got an herbal dewormer. Apparently the whole
government has now followed the lead of Congress and taken total leave of
their senses!
Oh, how I look forward to November! Then it will be our turn. I saw in
the paper this morning that Ralph Nader is opening his Green Party Campaign
for President in Iowa. Hum, now there is a thought. Probably the only
Tweedledee-Tweedledum not in the vest pocket of a corporate lobbyist.
