Alex (and others) please lets do the corn discussion on the list because I
ran into a lot of deadends last year. For sweet corn it's no problem.
Here on the west coast there is West Coast Seeds in British Columbia and
Territorial Seeds in Washington state (they were the same company at one
time) with a good selection of OP sweet corn seed. That said finding a
supply for grinding cornmeal is not as easy (is starch corn the correct
term?). Seeds of Change had some but it was all acclimated to the long,
hot summers of the US southwest, not the long, cool summers of the Pacific
northwest and the Canadian westcoast. West Coast and Territorial are also
not handling any GMO seed. To my knowledge eastern Canadian suppliers will
not make that promise. Looking forward to hearing more about corn seed.
