Compiling resources for SAN's next book: "Building Soils for Better Crops",
Dr. Fred Magdoff seeks contact information for 'non-traditional' soil
labs--those that will run analyses on soil microbial activity or other soil
quality indicators not usually offered by university or commercial soil test
labs. He is aware of Woods End Lab in Maine and the Soil FoodWeb Inc. Lab in
Oregon.
Also, Fred would like to know if you have seen some resource (book, video,
brochure, etc.) on ecological soil management that was of particular use.
Please send contact information for these labs or resource materials to Fred
Magdoff (fmagdoff@zoo.uvm.edu), who misses sanet-mg while he finishes the
book (due
out by February, 2000).
