This important networking tool describes the publications of a
growing number of sustainable agriculture organizations:
non-profit, academic and governmental. The information in the
"Showcase" is available as a hard copy publication, on floppy disk
as an easy-to-use database, and over Internet.
The "Showcase" has also turned out to be one of SAN's most popular
networking efforts; the entire inventory has been sold and
distributed since its release in 1993.
This publication began as a guide to a traveling display --
literally, a "showcase" -- of the exemplary and the missing in
sustainable agriculture knowledge. At its last printing, the
stand-alone guide listed almost three hundred publications, videos,
and other materials. Farmer-friendly publications are at the heart
of the "Showcase."
For this next edition, we'd like to expand the listing even
further. Those interested in contributing materials to the
Showcase, or updating their current entry, should fill out and
return the form below by May 2, 1994.
