I'm an organic farmer and would like to find out all I can about how
Nematodes help and hurt farmers. Mostly I would like to know about
biological control using Nematodes. I see nematodes for fungus nats what
else do these eat. Is there a way a farmer could keep a sustainable
colony going taking some out and adding them to soil and let the rest
grow. Can you add them once and have them overwinter or do you have to
keep buying them. Can I buy a small amount and grow them or is it best
to just add them all a once. Do u water them in? is it best to put them
out in winter rains if you use drip irrigaiton? Fact sheets can be ftp to
Sunsite.unc.edu our organic farming sight and mail can come here on this
listerver. So anyone that can help put Nematology on the internet is
welcome. Some of us farmers donnot have a B. Sc. degree and cannot take
the time for a course but would sure like to know how to use these guys.
