Greetings,

I am a graduate student in the Program of Sustainable Agriculture at the
Ohio State University, and I am planning to make my research in a community
in Mexico. The project is still in the very basic planning stage, but I
will probably focus on nutrient cycling and organic matter management, with
an emphasis on finding sustainable soil and organic matter management
practices appropriate to the ecological and socioeconomic conditions of the
community(ies). I would also like to work with interactive educational
programs or strategies in the community(ies).

At this point I am trying to get information together, contact persons that
are working on similar projects, and get input and feedback from people, to
work on the structure (as an integrative approach) and on the methods for
this project.

Do you know of anybody that is working on community development and
sustainable agriculture in Mexico?
Please, any comments, hints, contacts, information sources, etc. on this
proposed project are highly welcome.

Thank you very much!
