I cannot trust the food that the U.S. government and the Crop Protection
Association claims is safe. I would sooner trust the organic label from firms
with whom I've done business in health food stores, than trust a government
that protects big, often multinational enterprises to do their bidding and
compromise our food. In addition,
I can often taste or at least feel the different. With toxic (synthetic
pesticide) food, the roof of my mouth swells; not so with organically produced
foods.

I feel better buying food from smaller businesses that grow out of love for
the land, rather than love of spreading genetically engineered organisms over
the entire planet so they can sell more herbicidem which they manufacture.
