Discourse Community

I have choosen our very own Sanet to use as a subject of a communications
paper. The paper is based on the idea of a discourse community, that is a
community that is bound together primarily by its use of language.
Ultimately discourse communities work towards sharing information and
feedback on a specific goal (in our case sustainable ag.) Being part of a
discourse community ultimately shapes one's world views. What I need from
the group is a little bit more information about members to complete my
analysis. Namely things like: What are your ties to sustainable ag? How
you got involved in the listserv? Your educational/professional
background? etc.

Any responses are greatly appreciated and can be mailed directly to me at:
kjk@u.arizona.edu

Thanks,
KJ
