This is a 3/4 position, possibly going full time,. Flexible daytime work
schedule. Starting salary in the mid-20s (full time equivalent), depending on
experience. Excellent benefits. Located in LSP's White Bear Lake, Minnesota,
office.
This position coordiantes the overall membership program of the Land Stewardship
Project. The Membership Coordinator works with the membership team (data base
manager and membership liaisons in two other offices and one outpost) to plan
membership solicitation and member services, staff training to recruit members,
and outreach activities. This position coordinates membership drives,
development of membership materials and membership record-keeping.This position
also staffs membership committee of LSP's board of directors and promotes LSP's
presence and membership in the Twin Cities area. The Membership Coordinator
arranges for set-up of displays and staffing of tables or booths at events.
The Membership Coordinator must have excellent speaking and writing skills as
well as strong organizational skills. Membership programming or fundraising
experience is desirable. Desktop publishing aptitude and experience a plus.
Outgoing, enthusiastic attitude in working with people also a plus. The
Membership Coordinator must be comfortable working as part of a team and must
have a personal commitment to land stewardship ethics and sustainable
agriculture.
The starting date is Sept. 15, or as soon as the selected candidate can begin.
