Craig's post brought to mind an amazing and award-winning book that gripped
everyone around here who read it. Called A Civil Action, by Jonathan Harr
(I think), it's a spell-binding, page turner- the true story of the
pollution of public wells in Woburn, MA by Beatrice and WR Grace,
obfuscation, family tragedies, legal adventures and the miscarrage of
justice.
Mothers' knowledge, the law's and the government's ineptitude and a
lawyer's struggle make for a great read and a powerful indictment of THE
SYSTEM.
