Does anyone know of any informaiton on controlling powdery mildew on
vegetable plants. A customer bought a lilac and the mildew spread to
pumpkins and zuccinni plants in her garden. She is transitioning into an
organic garden, broke up the blocks with other specie and has started with
a yearly ammendment of compost. It isn't a big deal for the lilac but she,
and I, were wondering about the garden. I told her the old baking soda and
a bit of soap routine, but it got me thinking about how to control laten
fungal pathogens in soil. Any thoughts.
