A market model in Athens, Ohio may be of interest. Saturday 10 am to noon,
year around is a municipal farmer's market; 10 local producer's (1998) also
offer weekly market basket shares (defined as a portion suitable for one
person for one week, priced $6 to $8, or per item offered for trees,
shrubs, starter herb garden or native plant butterfly garden) which can be
picked up on Wed; paper mail-ordered previous Fri. Delivery also
available Wed to home or office-$5.00. Program called GOOD FOOD DIRECT!
