Looking for resources for farmers-in-training

Hi folks,

I'm beginning to organize a cohort of (mostly organic) farm
interns/apprentices: people who have worked two or three seasons on one or
more farms and are looking to keep working and learning, but don't have
the money, land and/or the complete confidence to strike out on their own.
On the other hand, they don't want to intern on another farm same as they
have been, because they have ideas they'd like to try and so on.

I'm looking for the following information and resources:
- contact info for other groups of interns or apprentices who have begun
to organize into a group, looking for a similar experience to what I am
describing.
- "Incubator farms," which lease land to young'uns like us to try out
farming for a year or two.
- Sources for potentially farmable land - e.g. organizations that put
farmer wannabes in touch with landowners looking for someone to farm their
land, or land trusts or preservation societies that would allow a similar
arrangement.
- Groups or people who hold, or have the resources to hold, intensive
workshops on topics such as tractor repair, construction skills, or
business skills.

Thanks for any help y'all can offer. Also, if you could please pass this
query along to anyone who might be able to help, I'd appreciate it!
