I've been lurking long enough. I absolutley agree with Greg Lunthorpe on
the need for two lists. I came to this list with the hope of reading of
peoples successes, failures, discoveries and questions concerning the
practice of sustainable farming and although there is a fair amount of
these I am a little jaded with reading the numerous postings that
'attack the attackers' of sustainable agriculture.
I think it was Fukuoka who said something to the effect that 'the
mutinational agribusiness promoters will debate you into the ground but
invite them out to your organic farm to see for themselves and they
quickly withdraw'.
Of course the actions of big business is important and should be
discussed but with two lists or perhaps a list within a list so that
everyone can focus on their area of interest.
