Subject: farmer's market levys
We participate at the Vancouver Farmers Market and supply tables, awnings,
etc and pay a table rent of 25$ per 10 foot space - a decision by the board
was made this year (no farmers are on the board) to levy farmers 5% off
gross sales. There is some contention about this.
I am seeking information from growers selling their products at farmers
markets in urban centers -what fees do you pay, is there a levy? Thanks for
your help.
