So you have a model and a strategy then.

The wrong kind of development, based on the wrong model. That's what's
being demonstrated.

The dominant model doesn't allow for proper distribution, anyway. It
adheres to other priorities.

And death isn't the worst of it. It's wasted life, wasted opportunities
- to do something worthwhile while living, and those opportunities
require healthy (adequate, well founded) input - i.e. food (an
importaant element) in order to not wind up wasted - and in order to be
fully conscious.
Most (or at least many), would agree to this. But the dominant model in
the U.S. (and the U.S.'s influence at the world level is considerable),
doesn't foment that as much as it should, and to establish a better norm
or way of doing things with better priorities, it will require a lot of
coordinated unity on the part of those who uphold these better
principals, along with a coherent strategy, which at some point must
garner the political support needed to get the change implemented, by
virtue of it's own power as a grass roots movement, by getting support
of a few key figures who are already in leadership postions, or both.
In any case, it all must start with a model - and there are a lot of
ways to say it - arriving at a common understanding is what counts, and
that becomes subject to personality clashes, limitations and
infighting. People in general would rather express themselves than
really try to get something accomplished as a group - which is what it
will take.

with it! (That is a suggestion, since I suspect there's more to it.
