Dale,
You didn't address that to me, but I would like to comment. I don't know
anything about prions and Mad Cow Disease. But I have seen two reports
from different sources discussing the same organic dairy farmer who defied
the British Ministry of agriculture and refused to treat his cows with a
specific organophosphate with which the Ministry had ordered all cows to be
treated. This as for the control of some insect.
He apparently went through a pretty bad time for quite a while, but he
did not treat his cows. And they were not slaughtered. Nor did his cows
come down with the disease. He finally won his battle with the ministry.
I am not sure if it was he won a court case, or the ministry backed down.
At any rate, the ministry is now stating that they feel that what this
dairy farmer had said all along has at least some merit and needs further
study.
