Texas Local Food Network
The City of Elgin, Texas received a Southern SARE Sustainable Community Innovation Grant to strengthen the sustainable agriculture connections between local farmers and area residents. One product developed from the grant was the Elgin Local Food Network. The website is an informal network of folks interested in strengthening Elgin's ability to produce and provide sustainable and organic food for people living in the region.
The website includes news, calendar of events and a listing a current projects, among other items of interest.
