Agripreneur Training Program Materials

Recognizing that Latino populations around the United States are growing, the Main Street Project in Minneapolis, MN developed an Agripreneur Training Program specifically designed to provide the tools necessary for Latino immigrants interested in entering the natural, free-range poultry business.

The curriculum (in Spanish) and manual (in English) were developed through a North Central SARE grant that aimed to create culturally appropriate business and field training to aspiring low-income Latino immigrant farmers. The training guides students through various aspects of launching a successful farm business, including operations management, human resources management, financial management, marketing and communications management, and support infrastructure.
