Organic Horticulture Training for the Southeast

Universities of Alabama, Arkansas, North Carolina and South Carolina have partnered to develop a website to help train and educate Cooperative Extension System personnel and other agricultural professionals on the philosophy, certification, production methods and economics of organic ag systems.

The website, Organic Horticulture Training for the Southeast, provides teaching modules and other educational resources on topics such as food safety, marketing, soil, pest management and organic systems for educators and other professionals throughout the Southern region to use in planning and conducting organic trainings and addressing common organic production issues.
