Katie Barnes A hoophouse at Phillies Bridge Farm in Gardiner, NY houses kale and lettuce seedlings. Phillies Bridge also uses cover crops, seen in the foreground, to naturally increase soil fertility. This is an educational farm where a variety of programs inform people about healthy and sustainable food production.
